Pots & Pans

Today I cycled after work with the Pots & Pans group. This group start at Wednesdays at 6 pm.
It's named after the startplace at the corner of a shop which sells pots and pans.
At 8.30 pm it was dark, so we had more than 2 hours of daylight.
It's summertime, lets use that time!!

5th batavus ride

Today I had my first ride with the Ledig Erf team.
I joined the B-group. The cycle faster and more serious than the C-group.
Despite my will to cycle with this group I couldnt follow the whole strech of 80 kilometer. (In fact my goal was to ride only 60) After 40 kilometer I had to let them go and go on my own speed. Well after 2 hours and 35 minutes I was back where I started.

Stats of today:

- 18th ride

Today would probably be the best day of the new week. So I took my chance to race to the hilly side of the province. 20 Kilometers from startingpoint, but when I arrived it looked so different more snow and again snowing. So I did some climbs. When I turned back home the snowfall became a light rain and my feet were wet. I didn't have any power and with a pace of 17 to 20 k/hr I reached my home. Of course the wind was blowing in my face and that made it colder. Strangely I only felt my feet.

thought

I thought that with minus temperatures one should have it cold on a bike.
Not with the conditions we had the past days.
Between -2 degrees Celcius and 0 dregrees, wind South East 3 m/s. The sun does help too.
