In the cold over the 7,000 k

It's like climbing a mountain, step by step, meter by meter I reach the limit, the sky.
Today I started at 11 am, when the fog had gone. Then I cycled via Bunnik and Zeist to Doorn, avoided some fallen trees due to the storm and snowfall, climbed some hills and cycled back to my town.

almost 7,000 K

I cycled to the snow. The area where I live there hasn't been enough snow to stay white. 20 K east I could see the first white carpets in the field in the forests and along the roads. Look at my blog.

third run

The morning was beautiful, wind still a little frost in the air and the sun shining upon my skin when I ran a short time. I really didn't run quick. I took my time to feel the paces landing on the ground. In my ears was classical music and that made it fun. Well fun, after 15 minutes I turned to the recorded CD's in the MP3-player.

second run, Nov. 18

Today's run in a cloudless sky, 5 degrees celsius, no wind.
I ran a short round through the neighborhood. Very slow and with 3 stops I ran 14 minutes. I didn't feel anything to worry about. I decided to run an exta kilometer. So totally I ran 4 kilometer (or less). Important thing is that I don't feel any pain (running and afterwards) So that's good.

back to running?

Maybe inspired by the Amsterdam an New York marathon I had my first run of the year.
It was a short one.
5 minutes slowly running 8 k/hr after that walking and stretching and then again 5 minutes slowly back home.
Well actually I was quite sweatty back home.

Maybe Nordic Walking is something for me when I keep this pace ;-)
