Wet and cold

Todays tour was also slippery. I had to adjust speed to weatherconditions though it was almost perfect to cycle; little wind, sunny spells and light from the morning sun

Sunday

After cycling 15 k I met my group. They were on their way back to the pub. (start & finish) I turned and got them after a few kilometers.
Well spoken with one of the chaps I learned that he fell. You always hope it isn't you.
I rode with them to town and then I went home but I wasn't halfway home when a car tried to turn right. I could break but hit the car and fell myself. The driver didn't see me at all.
Luckily I have probably no damage. After that I rode another 10 k to see if everything on my bike still works.

Fog

At 4 pm I felt how it is to cycle around in the fog. After the sun burnt away the fog in the morning I couldn't wait to cycle a few kilometers. I was foggy already, but when I came in the field there was a real dense fog. I can't remember I rode in real fog. Luckily I had my red back light with me. So I could be noticed by traffic.
But it was a ride to the unknown. I lost my sense of direction and the surroundings were not quite known to me.

wind, rain and cycling

When I was ready to cycle after a day at my parent's I started raining...
Well, just cycled through the rain and coldness... but after all, it wasn't that cold.
