2 weeks ago I had a racing wheel replaced so I couldn't race. So I thought to pick up running again. I had in mind a route through my neighborhood and I started running. It was easy and I could make speed in the first 1,000 metres. Then I had to slow down because of breathing problems (ran to fast?). After that the route followed a canal, where I had to fasten my shoelaces, crossed a street and ran along another canal back home. I was tired within 15 minutes...sweating for hours after and the next day every muscle in my legs hurt.. I better train without thinking running is easy.
Maybe it is (I know), but the law is that it takes a lot of energy to make the first steps.
